There are steps in our life that we consider as major milestones and deciding to join Cream is clearly one of them.

I can still picture myself in 2018, the french student completing her Master’s degree, going to Brussels for the first time ever, for her last round of interviews with Cream and then accepting their offer to start as a Consultant.

More than 3 years later, I’m still there and I have this great (and very strange) feeling that I have already been working with Cream for 10 years when I think of everything that happened!

My Cream journey started as a Consultant, curious and eager to learn pretty much everything, for me it was the perfect step to kick-off my career. I had the opportunity to work on 3 different projects as a Financial Analyst and as a PMO, in IT and in the energy sector.

I loved these very transversal roles that allowed me to be in contact with many stakeholders, to better understand how large and complex organisations are operated and how strategic projects are being led. It also helped me better grasp the issues our clients are facing on a day-to-day basis and why, us, consultants can be a great support for them.

Willing to develop my intrapreneur side, my implication within Cream didn’t stop there as I quickly decided to involve myself on internal initiatives.

I first joined the Mentoring Team, a service offered to our consultants to ensure they blend in Cream’s culture and support them through their life in the company. I was lucky to be the mentor of several consultants, during 2 years.

I also created the Data Tribe, the first community of data experts within Cream, with the objective of providing services, internally to Cream and externally to different stakeholders. All of this with the support of an amazing team of consultants!

Thanks to this combination of experiences, I’ve built myself a global view of Cream’s strategy and I’ve learnt so much, not only on a hard/soft skills level but also on myself and on what I really desired for my career.

I realised I wanted to help our clients solve their business issues and provide them with the appropriate solutions and on top of this, I wanted to guide our consultants in their growth and in their career. I also wanted to be more closely involved in Cream’s development. This led me to me to my most recent step: becoming a Business Manager.

I have now joined the Dream Team of Business Managers, since a couple of months and couldn’t be happier. Being part of this team makes me want to challenge myself even more and get out of my comfort zone every day. I have so much to learn and can’t wait to see how I will grow into this new role.

When I look back, I would have never imagined achieving all of this, and I feel completely aligned with this new step and am grateful for being part of the Cream adventure. Who knows what I’ll be doing in 3 years ?
