Project Manager Energy

Cream is developing rapidly his network of consultants especially thanks to his growing portfolio of clients. For that reason, we are looking to recruit new consultants to strengthen our teams.

Our objective is to assemble the best talents so as to build multi-disciplinary teams supported by the expertise of our Practices.

What is the job all about? 

As a Project Manager in an energy environment, you will be in charge of planning and organizing, facilitation of change:

  1. You are responsible for the organization and monitoring of all internal activities of this project:

  2. Prepare an implementation plan

  3. Monitor the scope, budget and timing

  4. Manage issues and tasks, risks, progress reports in steering committee

  5. Measure result, KPIs, monthly key events

  6. In cooperation with the stream leaders, adjust both short and long term planning as the project goes,

  7. Apply and align resource needs: team of .Net developers, testers, analysts

  8. Develop and implement the change plan, which causes a transition from the project phase to operational

  9. Determine the training needs for end users as well as outlining an appropriate training plan

  10. Undertake initiatives to improve the acceptance by end users

  11. Coaching and motivation of your team members

  12. Organize team meetings

  13. Status reporting and administration

What is Cream looking for? 

  1. You have a Master degree in information technologies, electricity, electronics or equivalent

  2. You have experience in managing projects for electricity or other energy business

  3. You can interact with energy markets specialists (you have knowledge in at least one of the following: generation, transportation, metering, billing, grid management, asset management, contract management, gas flow management, risk management, portfolio management, energy trading, real time applications)

  4. You have several years of relevant experience as project manager in IT projects based on Microsoft architecture (. NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server)

  5. You have a pronounced experience in planning and organizing

  6. You are proficient using Prince2 and Agile (Scrum) methodologies

  7. You have the management skills to take leadership and initiative

  8. You are stress resistant

  9. You are collaborative and able to manage a multidisciplinary project

  10. You have a cultural openness and adaptability, you are pragmatic and have the capacity to keep things simple

  11. You are fluent in Dutch, English and French
